#8 - Using Social Media to Build Your Personal Brand w/ Natalie Allport

Dec 1 • 43:07

In this episode, I sit down with Natalie Allport, a former World Tour snowboarder and current CrossFit competitor. Natalie shares her experiences marketing herself as a snowboarder and competing for endorsements. This ultimately led to other athletes and brands reaching out to her for support and resulted in her starting 93 Agency, a marketing agency for athletes and brands. She currently focuses on helping larger brands reach the mass audience of young athletes affected by the new NCAA NIL (Name, Image & Likeness) ruling.

She shares her top 3 tips for young athletes using social media to try and build their personal brand, discusses the downsides of social media, and discusses how her own personal branding led to an opportunity to speak for a TedX event.
